Requirements

  • Necessary references: To set up charts, students will need a tables of houses and an ephemeris. The course uses the AFA Placidus Tables of Houses and the Rosicrucian Ephemeris.
  • The course teaches tropical astrology and uses the Placidus house system.
  • Sectional purchase sequence: If buying the course in sections, Section 1 must be purchased first, followed by Section 2, then Section 3.
  • Print access (online edition): Online students must have access to a printer to print forms and charts needed for assignments.
  • Self‑paced assignments: Students work at their own pace; they interact with their teacher via correspondence. Successful completion of lesson assignments and the final exam is necessary to earn the diploma.
  • Policies: There is a charge to replace any lost lessons or forms. No refunds are given unless approved by AFA (refunds are subject to a 25 % fee). Shipping rates are higher for binder editions sent outside the U.S. and there’s a restocking fee for returns.
